This is just quick update to say thank you to the Edinburgh rope community for being so welcoming on our weekend trip up from London (and first workshop). Also credit and thanks goes to DigitalDevil and Ronin for organising the weekend of events (a huge task), and to Antlers for accommodating us!
Finding good venues for events is one of the most difficult things for a rope community. You often need soft mats, suspension points, high ceilings and close to transport links. Fortunately for the rope lovers of Scotland they have some incredible venues in Edinburgh and Glasgow. I think this, coupled with the level of enthusiasm there, means Scotland could potentially become a great place for rope events.
We’ll definitely be coming back!
